Efficiency has been one of the main objectives of webFiche design.
webFiche can handle reports of any size. Several built-in features make viewing very large reports extremely simple.
- webFiche displays the first 100 pages to the user instead of an entire report. Users can view the next 100 pages, a single or a
range of pages.
- By using a powerful Complex-Search feature users can search up to 7 text fields, or a combination of text, numeric, Amount, and
date fields with a combination of logical operators (equal to (EQ), greater than (GT), less than (LT) etc) The search scans the entire report and not just the pages in view. Users control the output
to one page at a time or all pages and the page content (entire page or just the lines where the search pattern was found). This provides users with very precise data.The output of the search can
also be exported into a Spreadsheet with a click of the mouse.
- In the case of very large reports Indices can be built for the reports that will provide direct access to logical sections of the
report by the click of the mouse. The indices can also be used to provide access to only select sections of the reports to users and clients.
- Allows users to access sections of reports represented by an index values across dates. This is especially useful in extracting
customer account statements for a range of dates for example.
